Terms of Service

Last updated: August 16, 2026

These General Terms govern access to and use of the data extraction and parsing services provided through Factum Parse API by Fabrizio Terzi (VAT IT04923300166).

Factum Parse API provides deterministic processing and data normalization services for accounting and tax documents (including FatturaPA XML files and PDF documents) via encrypted HTTP REST calls.

  • Access to the service is granted through the generation of a unique API Key issued upon subscription to a service plan.
  • The user is solely responsible for the custody and confidentiality of their key. Any call made using the assigned key shall be deemed to have been made by the user.
  • It is strictly forbidden to assign, sublicense or share the API Key with third parties outside the user’s organization.

  • Merchant of Record: All economic transactions, invoicing, tax calculation and currency management are exclusively entrusted to Lemon Squeezy, LLC.
  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the billing period (monthly or annual), unless cancellation is made through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal before the renewal date.
  • Withdrawal: This being the supply of digital content and instantly activated API services, the customer accepts the immediate commencement of service execution upon generation of the API Key.

4. Usage Limits and Fair Use (Rate Limiting)

Section titled “4. Usage Limits and Fair Use (Rate Limiting)”
  • Each plan provides a maximum number of requests per minute (e.g., Starter: 60 req/min; Pro: 300 req/min).
  • Exceeding contractual limits will result in temporary rejection of requests with HTTP status code 429 Too Many Requests.
  • Reverse engineering, intentional infrastructure overload (unauthorized stress testing), or attempted circumvention of authentication systems is prohibited.

  • The Controller undertakes to maintain a monthly service availability of 99.5%.
  • Excluded from uptime calculation are interruptions due to scheduled maintenance windows (notified with adequate notice), force majeure events, or disruptions attributable to global internet backbones.

  • Factum Parse API provides a data extraction and structuring service based on deterministic rules and parsing models. The user bears the sole responsibility of verifying the accounting and tax accuracy of the extracted data before recording it in their systems or transmitting it to tax authorities.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Controller shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of revenue, tax penalties, or business interruptions arising from the use or inability to use the API.
  • The Controller’s total liability to the user is limited to the amount actually paid by the user for the service in the 12 months preceding the damaging event.

These General Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute arising from the interpretation, execution or termination of this contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Bergamo (Italy), without prejudice to the mandatory jurisdiction of the consumer’s place of residence where applicable by law.
